The Camden County Bruins's four-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They walked away with a 60-51 victory over Lakeland.
Leading Camden County to victory were Xzavior Wiggins and J'ron Pendleton. Wiggins dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds, while Pendleton scored 20 points. Pendleton continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Antwan Hughes, who scored six points.
Camden County's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Lakeland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County will take on Hertford County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hertford County is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Lakeland won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Western Branch at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Western Branch has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 289 points over their last four contests.
