After two games on the road, Bonnabel is heading back home. They will take on the East St. John Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Bonnabel didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Frederick A. Douglass, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory. The win was just what Bonnabel needed coming off of a 45-11 defeat in their prior match.
Among those leading the charge was Anaiah Perry, who scored 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Bonnabel's points. Jalaya Lee was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Meanwhile, East St. John beat South Lafourche 49-37 on Wednesday.
Bonnabel is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for East St. John, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
