Meanwhile, Cadott strolled past Stanley-Boyd with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-41. The win was just what Cadott needed coming off of a 66-34 defeat in their prior contest.
Cadott can attribute much of their success to Emma Kowalczyk, who scored 13 points along with four steals, and Taylor Hager, who scored 13 points along with seven assists and six steals. Hager has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Kennedy Nerdrum was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
McDonell Central's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Cadott, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for McDonell Central against Cadott in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 93-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for McDonell Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
