When it comes to explaining why Killian Hill Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emory Berry. Despite the final result, he scored 31 points along with four steals. That was a full 64.6% of Killian Hill Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Hawthorne Herring, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Killian Hill Christian bumped their record down to 5-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lanier Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
