The Norcross Blue Devils won against the Brookwood Broncos last Tuesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Norcross skirted past Brookwood 2-1. That's two games straight that Norcross has won by exactly one goal.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Ashlyn Valentine and
Amy Cruz, who scored both of Norcross' goals. Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.
The win made it two in a row for Norcross and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Brookwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Norcross will be playing in front of their home fans against Lambert at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookwood, they will head out on the road to take on Dacula at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
