The Commerce Tigers and the Bryan County Redskins squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Commerce Tigers had to settle for second. They fell 24-16 to the Redskins. Commerce's defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
Bryan County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tanner Ennis, who rushed for 26 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Bryan County, they have yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 12-1 record.
Commerce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bryan County will square off against Prince Avenue Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prince Avenue Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bryan County in Georgia (Prince Avenue Christian is ranked 46th, while Bryan County is ranked 146th).
