Owen Stone posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Stone and Lawrence North will venture away from home to square off against Ben Davis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are 9-1 against the Giants going back to May of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
