D1 District 7 (8 Man) recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in D1 District 7 (8 Man) this week, Burwell beat Nebraska Christian 59-20. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Longhorns.
Burwell was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Eagles. Luke Gideon's team came in at 18 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
Chambers/Wheeler Central's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brenden Pelster threw for 152 and 4 touchdowns and Steven Marcellus had 91 yards receiving. On the ground Pelster chipped in 136 yards. Tanner Tracy helped Chambers/Wheeler Central's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 38 yards.

Clearwater/Orchard lost to Overton 65-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Shane Willats ran for 83 yards in the defeat.
