The Camden Hills Windjammers lost against the Oceanside Mariners back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Camden Hills was the victim of a tough 64-43 defeat at the hands of Oceanside.
Bailey Breen went supernova for Oceanside, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 16 rebounds. The matchup was Breen's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubri Hoose, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Camden Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oceanside, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden Hills will square off against Mt. Ararat at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maine (Mt. Ararat is ranked 35th, while Camden Hills is ranked 14th). As for Oceanside, they will head out on the road to face off against Yarmouth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
