Lackawanna 2 recap September 10, 2013
Mid Valley moved up to 265 from 415 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Lackawanna 2. The Spartans were able to make move up by besting Wyoming Area 29-16.
Western Wayne fell to Scranton Prep 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jayson Figueroa ran for 71 yards in the defeat.
Lakeland's dynamic duo of Chet Anuszewski and Gavin O'Donnell proved to be unstoppable against Valley View, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Anuszewski threw for 111 yards and O'Donnell had 63 yards receiving.

Daiqwon Buckley provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Dunmore beat GAR Memorial.
Anuszewski put up the best numbers in passing as Jeff Wasilchak's team fell to George Howanitz's team.
Buckley was a beast in the backfield as the Bucks beat the Grenadiers.
Buckley was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 271 yards as Dunmore fell to the Cougars. Josh Sawka also contributed to the rushing game with 71 yards on the ground.
Lakeland's Anuszewski and O'Donnell have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Lackawanna 2 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Anuszewski has thrown for 352 yards this season, while O'Donnell has 8 catches for 193 yards. Buckley from Jack Henzes' team leads the league in rushing with 457 yards.
The Bucks led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on GAR Memorial. Buckley in the win.
