East Jessamine suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Mercer County on the road and fell 89-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
West Jessamine posted their biggest victory since November 28, 2023 last Monday. They blew past Danville 68-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Jessamine.
East Jessamine has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for West Jessamine, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
East Jessamine couldn't quite finish off West Jessamine in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 and fell 37-35. Can East Jessamine avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
