Tracy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brady Brown, who threw for 238 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards. 98 of Brown's passing yards were hauled in by David Goularte.
Titus Andrus was his usual excellent self, rushing for 181 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry for Pleasant Valley. Andrus was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
Tracy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Pleasant Valley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Tracy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Edison at 7:15 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Pleasant Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-12 loss against Cardinal Newman on the 26th.
