Bennett has gone a perfect 3-0 against Wellington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Bennett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Bennett's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Mitchell as they made off with an 18-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Cougar Cronk made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
In other batting news, Bennett let Evan Garner and Avant Dickens run wild. Garner went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Dickens got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Garner has posted since back in March. Victor Herrera also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Bennett was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mitchell only posted a batting average of .143.
Meanwhile, Wellington didn't have quite enough to beat Severance on Monday and fell 7-6. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Silver Knights: they've now lost four in a row.
Cade Keller and Luke Moore stepped up to the plate in a big way. Keller went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Moore went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Bennett's record now sits at 9-11. As for Wellington, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Bennett skirted past Wellington 4-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
