Ballard won the last time they faced Carroll and things went their way on Monday too. The Bombers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-4 victory. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Ballard and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Carroll, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Ballard wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against Winterset on the 4th. As for Carroll, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-0 loss against Gilbert on the 4th.
