Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bartlett Yancey beat Graham 42-37 on Friday. The win was just what Bartlett Yancey needed coming off of a 56-27 loss in their prior matchup.
Bartlett Yancey relied on the efforts of Alexis Farrish, who scored 13 points along with two steals, and Jazmyne Henderson, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Farrish has scored all season.
Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bartlett Yancey, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Cummings was dealt a bruising 49-17 defeat at the hands of Bartlett Yancey when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Henderson, who scored 21 points along with three steals.
