Michigan City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allen Briggs led the charge by scoring 16 points. The match was Briggs' third in a row with at least ten points. Anthony Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

As for Michigan City, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Hammond Central at 3:00 p.m. Hammond Central is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 64.5 points per game.
