Michigan City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allen Briggs led the charge by scoring 16 points. The match was Briggs' third in a row with at least ten points. Anthony Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
La Lumiere Blue's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Michigan City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
La Lumiere Blue's road trip will continue as they head out to face South Bend Career Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Michigan City, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Hammond Central at 3:00 p.m. Hammond Central is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 64.5 points per game.
