Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Academy Gets the Win

First Baptist Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions by a score of 2-0.

Adriana Garcia paced First Baptist Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Garcia got some help from Trinity McCormick and her 16 assists. Maggie Adamczyk and Natalie Burkart kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

First Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Immaculata-La Salle, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

First Baptist Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Vero Beach on the 13th. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ransom Everglades at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
