Austin Thompson, a Metcalf touchdown pass to
Caleb Kline and a touchdown run by Metcalf in the quarter.
The lead that MC took on a
Tony Miller touchdown run with 7:00 remaining in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
With the win the Aces extended their winning streak to nine games. Mt. Carmel defeated Vincennes Lincoln 27-14 last week.
Mt. Carmel had given up an average of 13.1 points prior to the contest.
Mt. Carmel (9-0) goes up against Mt. Vernon in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Boonville (1-8) locks horns with Silver Creek also in a playoff game.
