This season hasn't been kind to the Greece Arcadia Titans, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They fell 56-43 to Lyons on Thursday.
Lyons was led to victory by Jayla Bell and Car'mella Parker. Bell scored 15 points, while Parker scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Bonnell, who scored six points.
Greece Arcadia's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Lyons, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greece Arcadia on the road again on Monday and play against Palmyra-Macedon at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Palmyra-Macedon is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games. As for Lyons, they will head out on the road to challenge Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterloo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Lyons likes a good challenge.
