Despite the defeat, South Bend Career Academy saw an underclassman step up: Alana Wright scored six points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. Paris Faber was another key contributor, scoring five points.
The win got Michiana HomeSchool T back to even at 1-1. As for South Bend Career Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Michiana HomeSchool T does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Bend Career Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Argos at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Argos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
