Purdue Polytechnic lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Derrick Johnson, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Chase, who scored seven points.
Purdue Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Indianapolis Washington, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Purdue Polytechnic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lafayette Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Lafayette Jefferson is ranked 57th, while Purdue Polytechnic is ranked 75th). As for Indianapolis Washington, they will head out on the road to take on Indianapolis Arsenal Technical at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Indianapolis Arsenal Technical's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games.
