After a dominant win in their game last Saturday, Whittier RVT were humbled on Friday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-35 punch to the gut against Essex Tech. The state rankings had actually given Whittier RVT a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped Whittier RVT's record to 4-3. The win got Essex Tech back to even at 3-3.

As for Essex Tech, they will face off against Nashoba Valley Tech. Essex Tech will be strutting in after a victory while Nashoba Valley Tech will be stumbling in from a loss.
