Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 64-54 to the Briggs Bruins. One positive for the 76ers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Briggs, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Independence will take on Marion-Franklin in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Briggs and Eastmoor Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Briggs is facing Eastmoor Academy at the right time seeing as Eastmoor Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
