Amaya Harris was her usual excellent self, going 10 of 16 en route to 24 points along with eight boards and five assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiana Tiernan, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, La Salle Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 67-51 bruising from Guilderland.
La Salle Institute now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Troy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
