Hersey lost to Elk Grove back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Huskies blew past the Grenadiers 11-1. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Hersey has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Elk Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Hersey will be playing at home against Rolling Meadows at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Elk Grove, they will take on Wheeling at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
