Even though the Dublin Scioto Irish scored an imposing 64 points on Friday, the Westerville South Wildcats still came out on top. Westerville South walked away with a 76-64 victory over Dublin Scioto. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Westerville South.
Kruz McClure had an outrageously good game as he scored 40 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Westerville South's points. Amari Hodges was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Westerville South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Dublin Scioto, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Westerville South will head out on the road to face off against Big Walnut at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dublin Scioto will be home for the holidays to greet Worthington Kilbourne at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Worthington Kilbourne focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
