Baseball Game Preview: St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs vs. Montgomery Vikings

For the second straight game, St. Vincent de Paul will face off against Montgomery. The Mustangs will square off against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

St. Vincent de Paul is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Montgomery on Wednesday. They fell 5-2 to the Vikings.

For Montgomery's part, the team relied heavily on Michael Ule, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits Ule has posted since back in March. Benny Olivarez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

St. Vincent de Paul's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Montgomery, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.
