Tri-West Hendricks' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Miller, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Robertson, who scored four points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
It was another big night for Nic Book, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds for Westfield. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Book has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caleb Wise, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Tri-West Hendricks has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season. As for Westfield, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
Tri-West Hendricks will head out on the road to face off against Danville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Danville is on a five-game streak of home wins, Tri-West Hendricks a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Westfield will take on Avon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
