It was a good run, but The Christ's Church Academy Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Zarephath Academy 30-26.
Christ's Church Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kyree Wilson, who rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 91 receiving yards. Jackson Hadden was another key contributor, throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Christ's Church Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Zarephath Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Christ's Church Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Zarephath Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Master's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
