After soaring high against Columbus Christian Academy last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. West Memphis Christian were completely outmatched, falling 6-42 to Tri-County Academy. The state rankings had actually given West Memphis Christian a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 2-2.
West Memphis Christian will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Lee Academy in two weeks. Tri-County Academy will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Canton Academy.
