On the hitting side, Victoria Crozier was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Harvey, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Fort Wayne Bishop Luers has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Woodlan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 23-5 record this season.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Woodlan struggles in that department as they've averaged .406. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
