After losing to the Raleigh Charter Phoenix the last time they met, the East Wake Academy Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. East Wake Academy walked away with a 50-38 victory over Raleigh Charter on Friday.
East Wake Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sean Hook, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hook has scored at least a third of East Wake Academy's points. Jayden Forman was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
East Wake Academy now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Raleigh Charter, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing NCSSM: Durham the next time they take the court. East Wake Academy will host NCSSM: Durham at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, while Raleigh Charter will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
