Last Tuesday, Edison was beaten by Jackson 71-32. Edison has struggled against Jackson recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, JC Bermudez Doral pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-58 bruising from Miami Beach. While losing is never fun, JC Bermudez Doral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while Miami Beach is ranked 280th).
Edison's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for JC Bermudez Doral, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
