The Peddie Falcons''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Pennington at home by a decisive 28-14 margin. Peddie has struggled against Pennington recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Pennington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Prestigiacomo, who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Luca Saurman, who picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Peddie's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pennington, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Peddie will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Hun at 7:00 p.m. Hun presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Peddie in New Jersey (Hun is ranked first, while Peddie is ranked 38th).
