The Peddie Falcons''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Pennington at home by a decisive 28-14 margin. Peddie has struggled against Pennington recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Pennington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Prestigiacomo, who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Luca Saurman, who picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Peddie's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pennington, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Peddie will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Hun at 7:00 p.m. Hun presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Peddie in New Jersey (Hun is ranked first, while Peddie is ranked 38th). Pennington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
