The St. Regis Falls Saints will head out on the road to face off against the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Saturday, St. Regis Falls took a serious blow against Northern Adirondack, falling 67-39. St. Regis Falls has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Tupper Lake really took it to Parishville-Hopkinton for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-32 win on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-18.
Thomas Peterson was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Corneau, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds.
St. Regis Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tupper Lake, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
St. Regis Falls suffered a grim 73-48 defeat to Tupper Lake when the teams last played back in January. Can St. Regis Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
