The Woodinville Falcons and the Redmond Mustangs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Woodinville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 527 points over their last eight contests.
Woodinville pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The game between them and Mount Si wasn't particularly close, with Woodinville falling 73-57. Woodinville has struggled against the Wildcats recently, as their match on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
While Redmond couldn't quite beat the Spartans on Saturday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 34-point defeat they were dealt on Friday. Redmond fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 70-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (66), Redmond still had to take the loss.
Woodinville's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7. As for Redmond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
Woodinville came up short against the Mustangs in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 74-65. Can Woodinville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
