After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lutheran, Taylor Prep was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Hope Of Detroit Academy an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Taylor Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hope Of Detroit Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Taylor Prep has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Canton Preparatory on the 28th. Hopefully Hope Of Detroit Academy paid attention to Taylor Prep's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Taylor Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
