The Hapeville Charter Hornets will head out on the road to square off against the Banneker Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Hapeville Charter came up short against Miller Grove and fell 5-3. Hapeville Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Scottey Garcia-Salas and
Carson Dill did their best for Hapeville Charter and scored all three of Hapeville Charter's goals. Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.
Meanwhile, Banneker suffered a rough 10-1 defeat at the hands of Mundy's Mill on Tuesday.
Hapeville Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Banneker, they now have a losing record at 0-1-1.
Hapeville Charter skirted past Banneker 5-4 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hapeville Charter since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
