It was a good run, but Rogers unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lexington Golden Bears by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 back in February.

Bo Mitchell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Easton Bradley, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Lexington, they pushed their record up to 8-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Rogers will challenge Wauconda at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lexington, they will take on Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
