Pine Lake Prep is 8-2 against Mountain Island Charter since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Pine Lake Prep will welcome Mountain Island Charter at 4:00 p.m. Pine Lake Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Pine Lake Prep after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Lincoln Charter, falling 17-5. The Pride haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Aiden Kaliszewski was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season. EJ Lewis, Jr. was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Mountain Island Charter got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. Everything went their way against Langtree Charter Academy as Mountain Island Charter made off with a 10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Raptors, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Mountain Island Charter let Logan Featherstone and Brody Thomas run wild. Featherstone went 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Thomas scored a run while going 2-for-5. What's more, Thomas posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Hayes, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Mountain Island Charter kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Langtree Charter Academy only managed six hits.

Pine Lake Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Mountain Island Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Pine Lake Prep took their win against Mountain Island Charter in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 21-3. Will Pine Lake Prep repeat their success, or does Mountain Island Charter has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
