The East Noble Knights lost to the Lakeland Lakers back in November of 2022, but the East Noble Knights didn't allow the Lakeland Lakers the same satisfaction on Saturday. East Noble came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakeland and snuck past 47-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for East Noble.
Kobe Ritchie was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Van Gessel, who scored 10 points.
Despite the loss, Lakeland still got an impressive performance from Nate Keil, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Kyle Hartsough was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
East Noble's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lakeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
East Noble will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Carroll. Carroll presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than East Noble in Indiana (Carroll is ranked 20th, while East Noble is ranked 65th). As for Lakeland, they will be playing at home against Fremont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
