On Monday, Parkview earned a 49-41 win over Woodland. The win made it back-to-back wins for Parkview.
Among those leading the charge was Jaden Cooper, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedi Benton, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Several Wolfpack players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Akira Brown, who scored nine points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Riley, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Parkview is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
Parkview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Newton at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Newton will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Woodland will take on Stockbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
