There's no place like home for the Loomis Wolves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They took down Arapahoe 69-52 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Loomis also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Leading Loomis to victory were Tyson Essex and Cale Nelson. Essex scored 19 points along with three steals, while Nelson scored 21 points. The matchup was Nelson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ben Trompke, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Arapahoe's loss came despite strong showings from Trenton Roskop and Kade Fisher. Roskop dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, while Fisher scored 21 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Roskop's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Loomis has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Arapahoe, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 7-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loomis will take on Wilcox-Hildreth at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
