Basketball Recap: Central Kitsap Piles Up the Points Against Mt. Rainier

While Central Kitsap didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Mt. Rainier Rams 57-24. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Central Kitsap's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mt. Rainier, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Kitsap and Beamer will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Kitsap is facing Beamer at the right time seeing as Beamer is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Mt. Rainier, they are taking a road trip to face off against Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
