Make it 13 blowout wins for the Crestview Knights this season. They claimed a resounding 62-22 win over Shawnee at home. Winning may never get old, but Crestview sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Cali Gregory was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Crestview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myia Etzler, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Crestview's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Shawnee, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will take on the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ada will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 610th, while the Knights are ranked 46th). As for Shawnee, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Van Wert is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
