Volleyball Recap: Abby Beach's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Deer Park over Cincinnati Christian

It was a proper cat-fight when Deer Park challenged Cincinnati Christian on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abby Beach, who had 20 assists and seven digs. Beach is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Grace Louden, who had 12 digs and five assists.

Anna-Kate Young was the offensive standout of the match as she had 14 digs and three assists.

Deer Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cincinnati Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Deer Park has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Reading on the 26th. As for Cincinnati Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roger Bacon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
