After flying high against the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks on Thursday, the NSU University Sharks came back down to earth. NSU University fell to Saint Andrew's 49-43. NSU University found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 20 to 9 on offense.
Kimora Exum and Tatum Billie certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Exum scored 28 points along with 7 steals, while Billie scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds. The contest was Exum's third in a row with at least ten points.
Saint Andrew's was led to victory by Emma Smith and Delaney Beighley. Smith scored 14 points along with 4 steals, while Beighley scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. Ainsley Ramsburg was another key contributor, scoring 0 points along with 14 rebounds and 3 steals.
NSU University's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Saint Andrew's, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
NSU University will head out on the road to face off against St. Brendan at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Saint Andrew's, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome St. John Paul II Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 6th.
