Even though Morristown-Hamblen East scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, Tennessee still came out on top. Tennessee walked away with a 72-65 victory over Morristown-Hamblen East.
Meanwhile, Unicoi County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 65-36 defeat at the hands of David Crockett. Unicoi County has struggled against David Crockett recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Tennessee's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. As for Unicoi County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Tennessee strolled past Unicoi County when the teams last played on January 9th by a score of 68-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tennessee since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
