Basketball Recap: Greenland Wins Going Away Against Thaden

Greenland lost to Thaden back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Greenland Pirates took down the Thaden Barnstormer 42-24. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

The victory got Greenland back to even at 10-10. As for Thaden, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Greenland will venture away from home to square off against West Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Fork has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Thaden, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Providence Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
