Meanwhile, Rogers strolled past Franklin with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 74-57. Given Rogers' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Franklin is ranked 301st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rogers' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amanna Anusiem, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Anusiem has scored all season. Treyshawn Weatherspoon was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds.
Graham-Kapowsin's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rogers, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.
